Throughout his career at companies like Dropbox, Groupon, and RealNetworks, Greg has established a reputation for strategic leadership centered on building high-performing teams that deliver technical excellence and customer impact.

He was most recently VP of Engineering at Dropbox, where he led the development of Dropbox’s flagship storage and synchronization products and new offerings, including Dropbox Replay (video collaboration), Dropbox Sign, DocSend, and others. These products‬ represented the entirety of Dropbox’s $2.5B annual revenue. Throughout his tenure, Greg fostered an engineering culture that balanced technical excellence with business impact while creating sustainable frameworks for rapid iteration and team growth.

As VP of Engineering at Groupon, Greg served as a key engineering leader during the company’s hyper-growth phase, where he transformed multiple core technology areas while driving significant business expansion. He held multiple roles, including developing their web and mobile consumer applications. He ran platform efforts involving app frameworks, deployment tools, real-time monitoring, metrics and analytics pipelines, internal A/B testing platforms, and reliability and fault tolerance testing. Greg’s leadership was characterized by his ability to align technology architecture with business strategy, institute rigorous but pragmatic development practices, and cultivate an execution-focused engineering culture with high velocity.

Earlier in his career, Greg held engineering leadership roles in early-stage startups in streaming media (RealNetworks), ad tech, travel, and healthcare.
